Event/Assembly Checklist

Ryan loves having the opportunity to speak to youth across the globe. There are a few things to keep in mind to ensure a successful visit from Ryan.

Before

A/V Requirements: Your audience deserves the best presentation possible. Poor equipment can almost guarantee a poor response to the presentation. Ryan requires either a cordless mic with fresh batteries or a mic with a long cord. He cannot use a microphone attached to a podium (he's too hyper for one spot).

Ryan also uses a very entertaining slide presentation during his performance which means a projector and screen are also required. The screen(s) should be large enough that EVERYONE in the audience can view the images on them. If these items cannot be provided, please contact us so we can make other arrangements.

Venues: The best venues are those that are well-lit with a stage. Auditorium, theaters, lecture halls and large rooms are great places to hold an assembly/keynote presentation. If your venue has a unique layout or features that could interfere with the audience or Ryan's presentation, please contact us before the day of the presentation so Ryan can adjust his presentation accordingly

Day Of

Agreement Fees: If you have an outstanding balance on the day of the presentation, please have this prepared for Ryan on the day of his presentation (unless other arrangements have been made).

Timing: Ryan's presentation requires 60-75 minutes (unless otherwise negotiated). Please allow extra time for students to be seated and Ryan to be introduced.

Distractions: Students will have an incredible experience during Ryan's presentation. Distractions may interfere with their experience. Loudspeakers, announcements, bells and two-way radios can distract the students and interrupt a potential life-changing experience.

Tech. Support: A technical assistant who is familiar with the venue equipment must be present to respond to any unforeseen technical issues without being asked by Ryan from the stage.

Follow Up

Feedback: Ryan encourages students, leaders and event organizers to provide feedback on their experience with his presentations. The best way to contact him and leave feedback is by visiting the Contact section on www.ryanspeaks.com
